Variations on some finite-dimensional fixed-point theorems

Abstract
We give rather elementary topological proofs of some generalizations of fixed-point theorems in $\mathbb{R}^n$ due to Pireddu-Zanolin and Zgliczynski,
which are useful in various questions related to ordinary differential equations.
