Нехай R - кільце, а SL(2,R) -спеціальна лінійна група
(2×2)-матриць над R з детермінантом 1.
Отримано декомпозицію Веддербурна для
FqSL(2,Z3)J(FqSL(2,Z3)) і показано, що
1+J(FqSL(2,Z3)) є неабелевою групою, де Fq -скінченне поле з q=pk елементами та характеристикою 2 або 3.
